Research done by Arena revealed four important areas of focus in the construction of a racing swimsuit: speed, muscle compression, freedom of knee movement, and adherence to the body. The Poweskin Series was produced and part of this is the X-Glide range.

Powerskin X-Glide is a multi-layered full body suit with an SCS/biorubber coating that traps air, increases buoyancy, and reduces drag. With a patented one-piece design and the ultra-light Stealth fabric inside for optimum muscle compression and comfort, the X-Glide also employs a titanium alloy between the inner and outer layers to stabilize body temperature, and this along with Hoop Kompressor technology, delivers superior body stability during the stroke.

Made for extra powerful, woven fabric, the construction of this jammer makes for an easier fit while swimming, diving and turning. It features optimised compression of muscles, brilliant drag reduction in the water and low profile bonded seams. To top it all off, it has been treated with an innovative formula to give it a fantastic water repellent coating.
