Runners and cyclists have long been able to listen to their favourite music and specifically created playlists as they exercise, so why should it be any different for swimmers? Obviously being under water has been the issue but Speedo changed this with their successful Aquabeat to allow swimmers to listen to music during sessions, and now it has been updated.

The Aquabeat v2.0 features a screen just like conventional MP3 players, as well as including a shuffle option so you can change tunes during your swim. There are 25 hours of play time, 4GB of memory, it features FM radio and if you take it off it will float, rather than sink to the bottom of the pool.

This is a brilliant piece of technology to help you get through long, tiring sessions in the pool.
