KOOKABURRA UltraLite Halogen Hockey Stick

A continuation of a unique KMD construction formula enables sticks in the UltraLite range to be up to 4oz lighter than conventional sticks. This reduction improves hand and stick speed, giving the edge over opponents.

Kookaburra's unique construction matrix formulas consist of two main materials. Carbon provides strength, response and rigidity. The properties of carbon fibre, such as low weight combined with high tensile strength, make it ideally suited to hockey stick construction. The other main material is fibreglass, providing feel and durability. It has a high ratio of surface area to weight, making it ideal for hockey sticks. This comprises of 95% carbon and 5% fibreglass.

New for 2011 is Kookaburra's L-Bow series, with three varying grades of bowing in each stick's design. This stick features L-Bow Extreme; an adaptation of the unique Low Bow, this helps with drag-flicking by creating a prominent bow.

Kookaburra Multi-Directional braided carbon improves power, touch and feel, as well as torsional stability.

Supreme close control can be achieved thanks to Kookaburra's Skill Zone. This area provides additional control to the stick and assists with drag-flicking and aerial prowess.

For additional control, Soft Feel Resin promotes greater feel and dexterity without making any compromises on the power generated with each strike.
